Tasch
is the village where you will have to leave your car if you have motored
to Zermatt.
There is
one huge, uncovered and expensive parking lot as well as a small number
of private and slightly less expensive parking facilities. In any event you are a
captured audience, as no cars are allowed into the village. There is
also the alternative to park your car in Visp for free, however the
train ride from there to Zermatt is not cheap.
